Who am I?

I am Martina Brazzolotto and I am specialist in Gifted and Talented Education. Briefly my education is:

• B.A. in Primary Education (University of Padua, Italy)
• Specialized program in Gifted and Talented Education (University of Pavia, Italy; Irvine University, California, University of Connecticut, and Emporia State University, Kansas)
• Ph.D. in Gifted and Talented Education (University of Bologna, Italy)

I have been consultating for 10 years, and I am ready to share my high level of expertise with you!

Dear Parents,

during the last meeting (October 6, 2022), we agreed to hold monthly parenting support meetings to manage gifted children in the family (and in different contexts).
I propose two days of your choice:
1. Wednesday 9 November at 8.30 pm
2. Thursday 10 November at 8.30 pm
I thought two meetings, in such a way as to distribute you into two groups, so as to facilitate the exchange and allow everyone to share their experience.
The meeting is open to all those parents of gifted children who have already attended training courses giftedness, or who have already trained.
The meeting, lasting about an hour and a half, online, will be formulated as a Q&A session, that is, each parent can ask questions or share experiences and benefit from my advice and the experiences of other parents.
The cost is 20 euros for the single and 30 euros for the couple.

The different visions and interpretations of surplus and high cognitive potential derive from the various assumptions and perspectives. According to internationally renowned scholars Dai and Chen (2013), all theories, methods of identification and didactic strategies could be placed in three different paradigms; the discussion will focus, in particular, on two of them.

The meeting is aimed at teachers, parents, educators and educators interested in broadening the perspectives on Gifted Education, with the aim of being more aware of their vision and understanding how it influences the education and education of gifted child/ student.

Limited number: maximum 8 participants per group.​

Procedure
The three days will be dedicated to the life and discoveries of Stephen Hawking. Participants will be able to reflect on the biography of the well-known astrophysicist and on the binomial disability & talent; in addition they will discuss his best known discoveries, such as: multiverse, galactic evolution and cosmic inflation, developing both scientific knowledge, is a critical and conscious thought. Every day participants will have the opportunity to interact with each other, at a distance, but in synchronous mode: there will be two appointments a day, one in the late morning and one in the late afternoon. During the first meeting of the day we will share knowledge and opinions and we will propose an activity that participants can carry out independently and/ or through a distance interaction, thanks to the support of a virtual “class” of learning. In the second meeting of the day, the participants will share the products with the other participants and the tutor.
